Wellington prop Harvey Kreyl toured Australia with the 1952 Kiwis.

The product of the Korodale club began a tenure in the Wellington provincial side that spanned more than a decade in 1944.

After turning out for North Island in 1952, Kreyl played six matches (no Tests) on New Zealand’s tour of Australia and scored two tries in a big win over Central West Queensland in Barcaldine.

He represented Wellington against Australia and the American All Stars in 1953, and France in 1955.
