Stacey Waaka enjoyed an outstanding decade-long rugby union career, representing the Black Ferns in both sevens and 15s, winning two Olympic gold medals and two Rugby World Cup titles.

The talented outside back made the switch to rugby league in 2024, joining the Brisbane Broncos and scoring six tries in six NRLW appearances.

In 2026 Waaka joined the New Zealand Warriors, making an immediate impact with her speed, footwork and attacking ability, scoring nine tries in 10 matches.

Her performances earned her selection in the Kiwi Ferns 2026 Rugby League World Cup squad, where she is set to make her international rugby league debut in the Black and White jersey.
