Auckland-born second-rower Shaniece Monschau played every game in Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs’ maiden NRLW campaign in 2025 and was rewarded with a Kiwi Ferns call-up for the Pacific Championships.
Richmond Roses product Monschau was promoted to Canterbury-Bankstown’s NRLW squad after featuring in the NSW Women’s Premiership.
She made two line-breaks and averaged 23 tackles and 48 metres per game in the 2025 NRLW competition, eventually forging a starting spot in the Bulldogs’ pack and playing every minute in four of their last five games.
The 23-year-old also lined up alongside niece Shaquaylah Mahkitau-Monschau for the Bulldogs.
Monschau made her Kiwi Ferns debut in their second 2025 Pacific Championships match against the Jillaroos at Eden Park, providing impact off the bench at second row and retaining her spot to play her second Test in the Grand Final the following week.
