Hawke’s Bay forward Pat Burrows toured Australia with the New Zealand side in 1921.

Burrows was Hawke’s Bay’s lock in two matches against the touring Australian team in 1919 and represented North Island against Great Britain the following season.

Burrows’ national call-up came in 1921 and his tour included an appearance at prop in the last match, a 27-14 win over Newcastle.
