Wellington halfback Mike Pollock represented New Zealand against Australia and Great Britain in 1919-20.
Pollock’s only appearance in the four-match series with Australia in 1919 was in New Zealand’s sole win, a 26-10 result in Christchurch in the second Test.
He subsequently played in the tour-closing match – Wellington’s 93-5 loss to the brilliant Australians.
The following season, Pollock turned out in New Zealand’s series-opening 31-7 loss to England at Carlaw Park and in North Island’s 46-5 defeat to the tourists in Napier four days later.
