Ellerslie halfback Graham Brown played seven matches on New Zealand’s 1967 tour of Australia.

Initially turning out for Eastern United, Brown joined Ellerslie in 1965 and represented Auckland against the visiting NSW Country side the following season.

Brown was halfback understudy to Canterbury’s Bob Irvine on the ’67 Kiwis’ trip across the Tasman. He debuted in the tour opener against Newcastle and scored his only try for New Zealand in his last match, a 23-17 win over Northern Division in Armidale.
