The biggest-ever NZRL National Secondary Schools Tournament will finally kick off tomorrow, Friday 29 August, running through to Sunday 31 August.

The four competition grades remain: Junior/U15 Boys Carnival, Senior Boys Championship, Girls Championship, and Senior Boys Premiership. 

With 60 teams locked in, over 1,500 players and staff will be involved, supported by thousands of passionate spectators expected to turn out over the three days. 

Here’s all the essential information you need before matches kick off on Friday: 

 

Fields 

All Senior Boys Premiership and Girls Championship games will take place at Bruce Pulman Park. 

The Senior Boys Championship will play across Walter Massey and Bruce Pulman on Friday, moving entirely to Bruce Pulman on Saturday. Make sure to check the draw properly for the correct park and field. 

All U15 Boys Carnival matches will take place at Bruce Pulman on Friday, and Walter Massey on Saturday. 

All four grades will play all finals at Bruce Pulman on Sunday.

Parking 

Bruce Pulman Park: 

Spectator parking is available through Gate A (Walters Road) and Gate C (Kuaka Drive). Gate B (Walters Road) is strictly for teams only, spectators will not be permitted entry through this gate. 

Walter Massey Park: 

Street parking is available on surrounding roads including Massey Road and Hain Avenue. 

 

Food 

A variety of delicious food and beverage vendors will be available at both parks for all whānau and supporters to enjoy. 

Bruce Pulman Park: 

(Spread over the three days) Sweet Azz Hawaiian BBQ, Sushi Panda from Mt. Maunganui, 275 Kai, Bless This catering, Hey Presto catering, Double Dutch Fries, Ice Cream Social, Donut Waka, The Coffee Guy, Rise and Grind, and Addicted Coffee.

Walter Massey Park:  

Hey Presto catering, Donut Waka, and Hero Coffee.
