Wellington fullback Walter Miller toured Australia with the 1913 New Zealand team.

The former Petone rugby union player switched codes in 1912, turning out for Petone and Wellington in 1913 as well as heading across the Tasman with the national side.

Miller lined up at fullback in a loss to Northern Division and wins over Queensland and Toowoomba, before scoring a try from five-eighth in his las appearance for New Zealand, a 27-5 victory over Orange.
