Waikato centre Wayne White played one Test on New Zealand’s 1967 tour of Australia.
The Ngāruawāhia player represented his province against the visiting Australian side in 1965 and scored five tries in 10 appearances across the Tasman with the Kiwis two years later.
After partnering Roger Bailey in the centres in the 22-13 first-Test loss at the SCG, White went on an impressive tryscoring run in Queensland – dotting down against Wide Bay, scoring twice against Toowoomba, and nabbing a try against both Central Queensland and Far North Queensland – but was replaced in the line-up for the second Test by Roy Christian.
White represented New Zealand Māori and Northern Zone against NSW Country in 1968, and toured Queensland with Northern Zone later that year.
