Kieran Foran will become the first player to reach the 300 NRL game milestone while wearing the Titans jersey, with the club to celebrate the achievement over the next two rounds of the competition.
The 16-season veteran will reach game 300 against the Dragons in Wollongong this Sunday, however Gold Coast fans will get the chance to celebrate with the 34-year-old when he returns to Cbus Super Stadium in Round 25.
Debuting back in 2009, Foran has played for Manly Sea Eagles, Parramatta Eels, New Zealand Warriors and Canterbury Bulldogs before joining the Titans in 2023.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell says Foran is an ornament of the game, and his contribution should be celebrated as he prepares for his milestone match.
“As a club we are both excited and honoured to celebrate this occasion with Kieran,” he said.
“What a player he has been for such a long period of time, he’s made a significant contribution to our game.
“The value set and leadership qualities he’s brought to our club simply can’t be understated.
“The impact he’s had on our playing group will be felt long after he hangs up the boots, which we hope won’t be for a long time yet considering he’s still playing some of the best football of his career.
“While game 300 will land this week in Wollongong, we will honour Kieran at home next weekend against the Roosters giving our home fans a chance to be part of the celebrations.
“The Cbus Super Stadium field will be feature the 300 markings, and the official NRL ball presentation to Kieran will occur back at home on the Coast in Round 25.
“After full-time we will open the gates to allow the Titans Legion onto the field so that everyone can be part of Kieran’s celebrations.”
Foran will be the first Titan to reach the milestone wearing Gold Coast colours, with two former players also reaching the feat for other respective clubs – Scott Prince (Broncos) and Gavin Cooper (Cowboys).
