The son of 1930s Kiwi three-quarter Ted Mincham, winger Bob Mincham played four Tests for New Zealand during the second half of the 1960s.
After representing the Auckland rugby union team, he switched codes with Glenora and made a tryscoring Test debut in the 1966 series opener against Great Britain - a 25-8 loss at Carlaw Park. Injury ruled him out of the second Test.
Mincham missed out on the squad to tour Australia in 1967 but finished as the Auckland competition's leading tryscorer and received a Kiwis recall the following season for the World Cup. He featured on the flank in all three matches of New Zealand's winless campaign against France, Australia and Great Britain.
Mincham also represented Auckland in wins over touring NSW Country teams in 1966 (scoring three tries) and 1970.
