Goalkicking forward Ken George played eight games on the Kiwis' 1963 tour of Australia.The mobile George switched from Manukau Rovers rugby union team to Ōtāhuhu rugby league in 1957.The 26-year-old debuted for New Zealand in a win over Southern Division in Wollongong on the '63 tour, while he scored a try in a victory against North Queensland, kicked two goals in a loss to Central Queensland, and contributed a try and four goals to a win over Wide Bay Burnett.George later had stints with Manukau and Mt Wellington.
