The NRLW off-season is coming to an end with 2025 pre-season commencing next week. The 2025 season will welcome the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for the first time and mark the return of the New Zealand Warriors, who last played in 2020.
The off-season saw several movements, signings, and extensions of Kiwi Ferns present and past as the competition continues to expand.
• playmaker Tyla King (née Nathan-Wong) has moved from the Dragons to the Sharks this season on a two-year deal
• Kiwi Ferns & Cowboys Head Coach Ricky Henry snared Abigail Roache from the Knights and Najvada George from the Tigers through to the end of the 2027 season
• centre Leianne Tufuga joins the Raiders on a three-year deal from Tigers
• Knights have extended the contract of Shanice Parker until at least the end of the 2028 season
• The Warriors have secured Apii Nicholls, Mya Hill-Moana, and past Ferns representatives Laishon Albert-Jones, Capri Paekau, Harata Butler, and Lavinia Tauhalaliku.
