Each month, Former Kiwi and General Manager of High Performance, Motu Tony, will select three New Zealand eligible players for the Save My Bacon Players Of The Month. Eligible players must not have played for the Kiwis and will be selected from NRL weekly fixtures all the way to grassroots rugby league.

Adam Pompey made his NRL debut for the Warriors in their 19 – 18 win over the Sharks hosting a solid defensive performance showing signs of what’s to be an exciting footy career.

20-year-old Chanel Harris-Tavita debuted for the Warriors in round five this year, already making a name for himself as one of the Warriors key utility players. With the long-term halfback position insight, he’s impressively adapted to a variety of positions over the last two rounds having a notable impact on each game he’s played.

Nicoll-Klokstad’s break-out season saw him go from reliable back-up at the Warriors to one of the competition’s best fullback’s at Canberra in less than a year, commonly labeled “buy of the season” he currently leads the NRL is most kick return metres, with RTS not far behind.
