Five-eighth Frank Morse toured Australia with the New Zealand team in 1911.
A rugby union player with Ponsonby, Morse switched codes with the City club.
He played four matches on the 1911 tour – in three losses to NSW where the stand-off opposed pioneering champions Arthur ‘Pony’ Holloway, Viv Farnsworth and Bill Farnsworth, and a tryscoring effort in a 40-8 win over Hunter.
