International Trainer Accreditation

The International Trainer Accreditation is the minimum standard expected of experienced, senior trainers and international representative trainers, and is currently in development with international rugby league bodies.

 

The International Trainer Accreditation is the minimum standard expected of experienced, senior trainers and international representative trainers, and is currently in development with international rugby league bodies.

The International Trainer Accreditation will be delivered in line with international standards of the Australian Rugby League, First Aid Officer Level 2, and the National Rugby League SMA level 2.

To qualify for entry into this programme, the candidate must have attained the NZRL FAO and National Trainer accreditations, either through course completion or recognition of prior learning.

The candidate must also demonstrate reasonable experience in the role of a trainer.

A minimum of 150 hours as a trainer (eg. log books, training plans etc) with endorsement from a senior club coach, club chairperson or district or zone.
